International Photographer

My first interest in photography came when I took a black and white film photography class in college. I wanted to travel the world, and photography became the way for me to document my travels. I studied for a year in Japan, and bought my first digital camera to document it. After college, I went on a 15,000 kilometer bicycle trip around North America (USA, Canada, and Mexico) and a 2 month trip around Europe, developing a deeper understanding of photography through people and places. That love of travel and visual storytelling eventually led me to wedding photography, where I now create imagery that is as adventurous and genuine as the couples I have the privilege of photographing.
