At the age of 23, Jon shot his first wedding after being given the opportunity by a friend in the business. More than a decade later, Jon has been well-known in the wedding industry for his unobtrusive yet creatively distinct style of photojournalism. His passion for photography and rapport with clients have earned him the reputation as one of the most sought after wedding photographers in the Pacific Rim.

Lead Photographer

Former Flickr curator · Japan · 20+ years

Formerly a curator for Flickr in Japan, Jason has a true passion for all things photography. Though he honed his skills capturing the cultural beauty of Japan, he decided to delve into the fast paced world of international portraiture and high fashion. Finally settling down in Hawaii, he has devoted himself to the subtle art of wedding photography where his style is a unique mix of fashion and photojournalism.

Taka

Lead Photographer

First Hawaii photographer to shoot The Masters

Debuting as a professional photographer in 2002, Taka began his career capturing breathtaking wedding photography and working with various travel magazines, including assignments for the Hawaii Tourism Authority. In 2008, he moved to New York, specializing in fashion photography for New York Fashion Week. In 2011, he returned to Hawaii, but in 2013, he pursued a lifelong dream — entering the world of Formula 1. He became one of only 70 accredited F1 photographers worldwide, capturing the speed and intensity of motorsport at the highest level. He expanded his portfolio to include PGA and LPGA golf tournaments. In 2023, he achieved another milestone by becoming the first Hawaii-based wedding photographer to shoot at the prestigious Masters, one of golf's most revered events. With a diverse career spanning weddings, fashion, motorsports, and golf, Taka continues to push the boundaries of photography, blending artistry with action and storytelling.

International destination specialist

My first interest in photography came when I took a black and white film photography class in college. I wanted to travel the world, and photography became the way for me to document my travels. I studied for a year in Japan, and bought my first digital camera to document it. After college, I went on a 15,000 kilometer bicycle trip around North America (USA, Canada, and Mexico) and a 2 month trip around Europe, developing a deeper understanding of photography through people and places. That love of travel and visual storytelling eventually led me to wedding photography, where I now create imagery that is as adventurous and genuine as the couples I have the privilege of photographing.

Originally from Seattle, Mike quickly left his mark on the wedding industry in Hawaii and Asia. With roots in sports and fashion photography, he found his passion in the challenging art of wedding photojournalism. Mike's images have been acclaimed as untraditionally creative and captivating, and demand for his work has taken him to destinations all over the world. Because of his style and drive for perfecting the art of wedding photography, he continues to be sought after by clients from Hawaii, Asia, and beyond.

Originally from Japan, Naoki is passionate about capturing weddings in a natural and organic way while maintaining a stylish, refined aesthetic. He enjoys documenting genuine emotions, meaningful connections, and the quiet in-between moments that make every wedding unique. His relaxed approach allows couples to feel comfortable and fully present while he thoughtfully captures their story as it naturally unfolds. On his days off, Naoki loves spending quality time with his child, whether they’re having a barbecue, exploring Hawaii’s beautiful hiking trails, or simply enjoying a relaxing day together.
